THE COUNTRY CORNER SHOP is the store front for THE COUNTRY PEROGY SHOP.  Why have a different name you wonder....it was required in order to qualify for certain permits and so one business became two.

The Country Corner Shop stocks all the different varieties of perogies we make. We also like to support local and so we have a variety of local made foods, crafts and giftware.

The Country Perogy Shop started out in 1981 with a different name and owner many many years ago. In 1988 Tim & Brenda Penner bought the business and called it The Country Perogy Shop. Later their son-in-law and daughter, Marshall & Christinne Toews bought it, in 2014 a cousin to Christianne, Don Penner and his wife  Dorothy bought the perogy shop.
